Jurnal Riset Perkebunan (JRP) is a peer-reviewed scientific paper in the field of Agroecotechnology/Sustainable Agriculture in the plantation sector. Agroecotechnology refers to the application of ecological principles to agricultural systems, with the aim of creating sustainable and resilient farming practices. Sustainable agriculture involves the use of farming techniques that are environmentally friendly, socially responsible, and economically viable, with the goal of meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. JRP’s first edition was published in September 2020. JRP is published twice per year (March & September). JRP is published by Department of Plantation Cultivation, Faculty of Agriculture, Andalas University. JRP has been accredited for five years as scientific journal based on Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia SK No. 79/E/KPT/2023 dated 11th May 2023 (Vol. 2 No. 1 March 2021 until Vol. 6 No. 2 April 2025) and indexed in SINTA 4.
Focus and Scope
Jurnal Riset Perkebunan (JRP) is a scientific journal that focuses on the publication of research results in the plantation. JRP has a mission to convey a message to the world, especially in developing countries, to carry out agricultural practices in a sustainable manner by paying attention to the 2 main aspects of agricultural sustainability, namely environmental health and economic profitability.
