Jurnal Ilmu Fisika (JIF) is a peer-reviewed open access journal on interdisciplinary studies of physics, and is published twice a year (March and September) by Department of Physics, Andalas University Padang. The first issue has been released in 2009 and it is made available in electronic form since March 2018 (Vol. 10, No.1). Languages used in this journal are Bahasa and English. Manuscript is thoroughly peer reviewed by at least one expert in the same field (normally two or more).
JIF has been categorised 3rd level (Sinta 3) in National Accreditation by Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia in decree 10/E/KPT/2019, valid until December 2021 (2017-2021). JIF is also now indexed by Indonesia One Search, Google Schoolar, IPI, and Dimensions. All articles published in JIF have a digital object identifier (DOI).
